One woman wears sunglasses and a red cap with 'Power Up' logo, and the other a gray and black cap with 'Vintage View' logo. Behind them, a banner reads 'Paddle the PACELOT' and there are vehicles parked on a gravel lot.

We Started with a Kayak and a Dream.

Vintage View Adventures started with a kayak, a van, and a belief that Upstate South Carolina deserved a better day outside.

As two former summer camp professionals we fell in love with the Pacolet River and knew the rest of Spartanburg needed to experience it too. We started small - weekend kayak trips out of Clifton, SC, just the two of us and a stretch of river we believed in.

Four summers later Vintage View Adventures is 16 acres on the Pacolet River - river tubing, kayaking, private Riverside Lounges, special events, and a community of guests from across Upstate SC who keep coming back summer after summer.

We are a women-owned business proudly rooted in Spartanburg. We care about this river, this community, and the idea that the outdoors should feel welcoming to everyone - no experience required, no judgment, no special gear needed. Just show up!
