Our Riverside Lounges take the traditional public park picnic and elevate it to a private lounge right on the banks of the Pacolet River in Spartanburg, SC. Your lounge is set up and waiting for you when you arrive!

Book a lounge on its own for a relaxed day by the river, or pair it with one of our tubing or kayaking trips and use it as your home base - a place to gather before you hit the water and unwind when you get back.

Perfect for groups — each lounge accommodates up to 15 guests, and 2 dogs.

Please note: Riverside Lounges are day-use only. We do not offer any overnight stays or camping.

What’s Included with a Riverside Lounge

Every Riverside Lounge is a picnic site that comes fully set up - just show up and enjoy.

  • Picnic table with large shade umbrella

  • Fire pit with metal cooking grate

  • Firewood provided

  • 1 pre-hung hammock

  • Private changing tent with two cots

  • Clean flushable porta-potties with handwashing sink on-site

  • Trash and recycling service included

  • Up to 2 dogs welcome per lounge

Know Before You Rent a Lounge

  • Riverside Lounges are day-use rentals only. No overnight stays, no camping, no exceptions. All bookings must end by 7PM.

  • Cooking over the fire pit is encouraged — the metal cooking grate is there for a reason. Personal grills are not allowed on the property.

  • We love when you celebrate with us! Decorations are welcome — just clean up before you leave. Music and speakers are welcome — keep it respectful to neighboring lounges.

  • Yes! Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Alcohol is permitted for guests 21 and older — please drink responsibly. No glass anywhere on the property — not at the lounges, not on the river.

  • Well-behaved, vaccinated dogs are welcome — up to 2 per lounge. Dogs must be leashed at all times on the property. No pet fee. Dog pen rentals available as an add-on for $25.

  • Designated parking assigned on arrival at 250 Phifer Line. Staff will direct you when you arrive.

  • The Pacolet River runs right alongside our Riverside Lounges and guests are welcome to enjoy it. There is no lifeguard on duty — swimming is at your own risk. Guests under 16 must wear a life jacket any time they are near the water.
