Fall adventuring is some of our favorite time on the Pacolet! When the leaves turn, the river only gets better.

The cooler months bring some of the best conditions of the year - calm water, crisp air, and a quieter river that feels entirely your own. If you're looking for something beyond the usual fall hike or backyard bonfire, this is it. A day on the Pacolet gives you the best of both - get outside and move on the water, then settle in around a real fire pit on the riverbank with your crew.

We are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through November 1st, just outside Spartanburg in Clifton, SC.

If you're looking for a unique outdoor activity in Upstate SC this fall, kayaking might be exactly what you've been missing. Cooler temperatures make for comfortable paddling, water levels are at their most consistent, and the river feels quieter and more peaceful than any summer weekend.

Not everyone in your group needs to be on the water to have a great day. The Riverside Lounge gives you a private, fully set up outdoor space right on the riverbank - fire pit lit, games out, hammocks ready - so your crew can settle in and actually relax.
